Prepline was started by Essa Behbehani in 2017 and has since grown to encompass nine partner brands with over 35 stores and delivery kitchens in seven countries; Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UK, UAE, Bahrain & Oman.

MISSION

Our mission is to create and invest in leading brands across different F&B segments including premium casual, fast-casual, Grab & Go, and Delivery. We invest in foodservice businesses with turnover of up to 20 million USD, alongside international brands looking to enter the EMEA market. Our ambition is to achieve rapid growth for our investments, typically through multi-site roll-out, franchise agreements and market entry. Alongside our own brands, franchises, and investments we have developed concepts and strategies for select clients.

ESSA BEHBEHANI - FOUNDER

Essa Behbehani is an expert in turning personal passions into profitable businesses. He founded Choowy Goowy whilst at university in 2004, and grew it into a company with over 100 points of sale. Since developing multiple F&B concepts he has grown his business into a multi-brand restaurant group diversified across different categories and markets with four operating companies in Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and London. As founder of Prepline, Essa continues to work on developing his own brands, managing multiple hospitality groups, seeking out investment opportunities and inspiring future generations of restaurateurs through his incubator fund, public speaking and seminars.

Essa has 15 years’ experience as an F&B entrepreneur, investor and advisor and sits on the board of several established hospitality companies in the GCC & UK.

TEAM

Our Head Office consists of a core team of strategic, investment and operational professionals. Our management team is based in Kuwait and London and offers international experience as well as deep regional knowledge, an unrivalled network and long-term business relationships. For external client work, we develop bespoke proposals with an agreed upon scope, timeline and fee schedule. Where required, projects are supported by specific expertise from our network of financial analysts, consultants, marketing and public relations specialists, restaurant designers, graphic designers, planning specialists and architectural firms. We focus on delivering high-value propositions, creative solutions and deliver tangible results by bringing the best-in class team together to deliver excellence.
